Inventory guide

You will find all your carried items in the Inventory. To access them just press I and the Inventory interface shows. Here you see you’re self to the right and your items to the left.

How do I equip things to my avatar?
To put on clothes or armour you drag the item on to hour avatar. To take off do the reverse, drag from avatar. With weapons and tools it is better to use the Quick bar. See Quick bar guide.

I have a pile of things I would like to divide!
If you for example have 500 bottles of sweat and would like to divide that to smaller an amount you double-click the item and a divide interface shows. Put in the amount and press Accept. The amount you did put in will now show in your inventory.

I have a lot of stuff that is the same!
Sometimes when you buy stuff or loot you will see that the items are not added to each other, there will be several of the same material. To add those to each other you drag them on to each other. The target turns green and you let go of the on-dragged item. - It's now added. This is the same way you do for adding add-ons to your tools or weapons. For example to put on an Amp 102 on your gun you drag it to the gun and the gun turns green. Drop the item on the green gun.

How much can I carry?
In the left bottom corner of the Inventory window you see how much weight you are carrying and how much. To the left you see how much money you have on your PED card.

Can I drop my things?
If you like you can drop items from your inventory on ground. Maybe you would like to do a Dung painting or give an armour part to a Noob close by without the trade fuzz. To do so you drag the item out from Inventory window and let go of the mouse button. Your pointer changes to a small picture of the item you are dropping and you can choose where to drop. Click and the item are dropped. To prevent accidental droppings you will get a question if you really would like to drop. You can drop all items except your PED card and orange clothes.

Is there a hole in my pocket?
Sometimes it looks like things disappear from your inventory. Often when you trade or do other operations when you drag items from your Inventory to another place or tool. The item has NOT disappeared. Log off and on again and it will show in the Inventory.

I can't find the items in my Inventory!
In between the left and right pane you have a couple of buttons. Weapon, armour etc. Different items end up in different "pockets". If you refine a material it can change from being just an item to a tool, so be don't frightened when things move around.

My inventory is a mess!
In the top part of the middle pane you see the numbers 1 to 6. These are for bringing order in your inventory. You can move items to these pockets by draging them there. The big problem here is that when you have sorted your items and log off and then on, they will move back to the place they came from. So this is only a temporary way of putting order in your inventory. If you like to keep the settings try to arrange them in the container they belong to. Move down in the window and move the things close to each other.
