Colouring guide
One cool thing in Entropia Universe is that some items can be
coloured. Armour can't be coloured but is a well known scam.
Typical items you can colour is furniture and clothes.
How do I know that an item can be
coloured?
If you right click an item in your inventory you can show some
facts about it. Among the facts you will se a line saying -"This
item can be coloured".
How do I get colour?
To be able to colour an item you need one or more colour cans.
You can loot different colours from
different mobs or buy from other players or in auction. What mob
that loots what colour you can find in Wiki charts, see link
page.

How do I colour an item?
To be able to put some colour on the item you have you need a
Colour gun. The colour gun you can buy in the trade terminal.
Drag the colour gun to your quick bar and the press the key
assigned to it twice to open the colouring interface. Drag the
item you would like to give some better colours to the right
pane. In the bottom you will see 3 panes/squares where you can
put your colours. In the top left you will see the best possible
result. Keep in mind that it is the best possible, not how it
will look. How it will look depends totally on your skills and
how much colour cans you put in the colour panes. If you did put
the wrong colour in, you can drag it back to your inventory and
start over again. The more colours you put in the stronger will
the colour be. You can't put in more than 20 cans. In the bottom
of the three colour panes you can see how much change you have
for success.

How do I get
more skill in colouring?
If you like colouring and would like to get better skills one
way is to buy a lot of uncoloured cheap items like the basic
shirt. Loot or buy a lot of paint and start colouring. What I
have read and experienced my self it's enough with 5 cans of
paint to get skills. So put a cheap item in the colouring
interface and put 5 cans of orange in and press Apply. The other
way is to get a bleaching add on to your color gun. The bleacher
you find in the Trade Terminal and it costs only 2 PED. Drag the
bleacher on to your color gun and now you have a new button
called bleach. Bleach your item and then apply five cans of
color to one part, then bleach again and add color. Do this
until you are satisfied. The bleacher will brake after a while
so you will have to repair it once and the.
