Fruit & Dung

If you are really lucky you will find fruit or dung laying on the ground. In my first month I did find fruit 2 times and never dung. Some times people drop dung or creates "paintings" with dung just for fun in Port Atlantis and other places. When your skill, I think it's perception but I am not sure, is higher you will find fruit more frequent. But I still don't find so much. The good part is if you find it's often a rather big count. Like 150 Papplon. I try not to state any prices on things in my guides but this time I have to. A fruit is often sold for 2 cents for each. So 150 fruit will give you 300 cents = 3 PED. This is not a promise and the buyer can pay you less. Dung is sold for 1 cent. If you right click your fruit or dung in your inventory you will find that it's worth nothing, but players need this so they are willing to pay for it.

If you find fruit or dung, just double-click it and it will end up in your inventory, but you have to be fast. Some people say that you find more if you walk, other say that they find when they are running. I have found fruit while walking and running. But one thing is important, look at the ground, not the sky. I also have heard that at Club Never Die, CND, it's easier to find fruit. To test this rumour I did spend 40 PEDs for a round trip to CND. I did find fruit once during one day, so I can't say that you find more at CND. The thing that is not against this is that on CND you move slower than on ground, so it could be possible. I can't say that it is easier or not, you have to try for your self.

What is fruit used for?

Did you know you can tame a mob? Yes you can, but to do so you need something called Nutrino bars and some other stuff. Nutrino bar is food for your pet. To make Nutrino bar you need Sweet stuff and fruit. So the people who have succeeded in taming a mob need your fruit. Or the middlehand who have mined sweet stuff and is hoping on a profit when mixing it with your fruit.

What is dung used for?

If you have got your hand on a piece of land that has a Fertilization station you can alter the land so it suits your needs. To do this you need to add Energized Fertilizer. The Energized Fertilizer is a unique compound made out of animal dung and growth molecules. So the one who needs dung is a soc with its own land area. They will probably also need growth molecules which you get by mining enmatters and some DNA which you get from hunting. So collect as much dung you can and start earning money in the shit business. Do not be afraid of getting your hands dirty. J
