Skill implants 

In Entropia Universe it’s all about skills. There are two ways to get them; hard work (see skill guide) and the second way are to buy the skills from another player. 

How do I know how much skill the Implant will give me?
How much you gain depends on how much skill you already have. The more skill you have the slower the skill gain is. If we take Rifle skill as an example; In the beginning each skill gain will raise your rifle skill with 1, when you have reached over 1K in skill you will see that you need more than one rifle gains to increase the skill. To see how much you will get right click on the skill implant. You can do this before you buy it. When you click the magnifier you will see the stats of the implant.

How do I get my hands on an implant?
Best place, in my opinion, is in the auction. In the auction look under Skill implants, there they are listed by category. Of course there are also shops and persons selling these, but they can be hard to find.

How do I insert a skill implant?
First you need an Implant inserter. The Implant inserter is bought from the Trade Terminals. It cost 15 PED and it will decay a few PEDs when you use it. If you don’t plan to use it any more just put it back in the TT. Now when you have the inserter you need to add it to your fast keys, see Fast keys guide. When you have the inserter on the fast keys activate it and you will see a user interface. Use the browse buttons to switch to a empty spot. Drag your Skill Implant to the blue square, press the Insert button. Now I short lightshow starts and when it’s finished you have required your new skills.

           
Can I remove the implant?
No, the implant vanishes during the procedure. To extract skills you need to get an Empty Skill Implant, ESI.

Can anyone use an implant?
No, if you are a disciple you can’t insert implants. If you have the plans to use skill implants you have to graduate or ask your mentor to kick you.

Can I insert more than one implant?
 Yes, you can insert as many skill implants as you like but only one at a time. There is three slots in the inserter GUI, if you insert a Mindforce implant it will take one of these spots. You can use the Implant inserter to insert and remove Mindforce implants.

Can I insert any type of skill?
No, you can only insert skills you have unlocked. For example; if you don't have Coolness you can't insert it. This will tell when you look at the stats of the implant.
