When ever you do something in Entropia Universe you are using one of your skills. When using your skill you get more experience with them.

How do I know what skills I have?
To enter the skills interface you press K. When done there will be a huge green thing all over your screen where you see all the skills you have. The skills are categorised into several different tabs. Press the tabs to change between them. Some skill tabs can't fit all the skills so they are spread over several pages. To see and change page, look in the right bottom corner. To move between the pages press the arrows.

How do I know when my skills increase?
In the chat window (down in the left corner) you will see whenever you gain new skill points. The skill gains are in green writing. In the beginning each skill gain equals one point. When you start to get higher skills you will see that every gain doesn't give you one point. We look at Rifle skill. Up to 2000 you will earn one point for each gain, but after that it will take 2-3 to gain one point. So don't be surprised when you check your stats and don't see the skill gains you did expect.

There is more than level, please explain?
When you look at one skill you get a lot of information. First when you mark a skill you will get a short explanation what it is in the bottom of the screen. The graphics are divided in four different parts.

Can my avatar gain new types of skills?
Sometimes when you make a certain amount of one skill you will unlock a new skill. For example when you make 1K(I think) in rifle you will unlock a skill called Marksmanship. This is showed in the chat window with some pink/peach kind of colour.

I would like to know when I will unlock a new skill?

Can I max the skills?
It looks like there is no end to the skill gain. I think Mind Ark will keep adding new ranks when needed.

Are there any shortcuts to get higher skills?
If you are trying to boost a certain skill you can search in the pe-wikicharts to find the mob that gives you the skill you need. Or if you do skill in crafting, you just try to make as many cheap objects as possible. Remember, when ever you use a skill you will have the chance to gain more. So the more you use the skill the more will it grove. There is another way fast way to get more skills. Buy a Skill Implant. Some times you will loot a Empty Skill Implant or you can buy one in the auctions. The ESI can be loaded with skills. So if some one with a lot of skills would like to sell some they just insert the ESI and fill it with the skill they going to sell. Fast, easy and of cours not for free. To be able to use the Skill Implant you need to have a Mindforce chip inserted.

What about Health, is that a skill?
Your avatar have something called Health. This is how much hits you will survive. If you have 99 in health you can take 99 points of damage before you die. You will during your gameplay get more health. This is showed with some peach looking writing in the chat window.
