Team hunt
One way to have fun with your friends in
Entropia Universe is to go on a team hunt. This is also the way
to take down bigger mobs than you could on your own.
How do I create a Team and get people
to join?
When team hunting you need to have a team leader, we supposed
that your possy have agreed on having you as team leader. To
start the team you just right-click where ever on screen and
locate the Team choice. When you press the Team you will see a
screen where you have to give your team a name and set some team
rules.

Damage Determines |
If you choose this the loot will be shared based on how
much damage each player inflicts on the mob.

If you choose this one the items is divided between you
based on how much damage you did to the mob.
The one who
makes most damage will get the most valuable item.

| Leader Takes All |
If you choose
this the team leader always gets all items. It's very
important that you trust the team leader in this case.
If you loot an item with a big value he will get it. And
then sell it in auction without dividing with you.

| Most Damage Wins All |
If you choose this the one that
makes most damage on a mob will get the items your team
loot. If for example one of you has a heavier gun or a
amp he will always get the items. If you have equal
weapons this is a good choice.

| Queue |
If you choose this one the items will be shared by a
queue between the people in your team. This can also be
fair if you are very equal. Even the one not shooting at
the mob will get his share. Good if you have team member
who only contribute as FAPer.

| Random |
Random is of course a random distribution of the
looted items.

How do I get people in my team?
When the team is created you need to invite people to your team.
If you are alone in the team you can not loot! Just right click
the one you would like to have in your team and under
Interaction you chose Team Invite. The invited will accept or
not. Now you have a team to get some mob with.
How do I use the team bar?
The team bar lets you command your team and give fast
information how to react on the threat you face. There are some
buttons and if you hover your mouse pointer over it will explain
it self. To kick someone from the team click that persons cross
in the right
corner. To leave team you just click on the cross
in the right corner of the team bar.
How do I chat with my team mates?
With the new chat interface it's a bit hard to change fast to
team chat since the buttons are so small. I suggest that you
start to use chat commands. To talk to the team just add /t
in front of your sentence. /t Strange how they kill from 20 m

What is the best way of hunting in
team?
When attacking a mob together try to spread round the mob and
shoot from all directions. In this way all have a clear view of
the mob. If you are in a PvP area you need a clear view of the
mob so you don't kill your team mates. If some one is hit by the mob and needs FAPing one of
you move behind that person and FAP him. In some team hunting
you can have people just doing FAPing on your team members. Let
the one with best armour and gun stand in the front and take all
hits and let one guy stand behind him and FAP him. The front man
will have more decay on his armour than the guy behind, set
the team rules so that the front guy is paid for this. If you
are attacked in the team and you feel that this is to heavy for
you, do not run around. This will only make it harder for your
team members to save you. It's harder to hit the mob hunting you
and the FAP doesn't work so god while moving. Just put out your
own FAP and FAP your self while your team members kill the mob.
To get the fairest loot share I suggest that you use Leader
takes all and then divide the loot after the hunt is finished.
The team leader have to keep track of the loot and who was in
the team.
Is there any team etiquette?
Good manors are to do your contribution to the team. If you see
a team member running slower that the rest, wait for him. If a
team member is attacked on his own and you know that the area
you are in is full of hard mobs, try to run to him and help as
fast as possible. Always keep an eye on your team members on the
radar. They are the yellow dots. Even if you think your gun is
slower than all the others, do not just stand there and look.
Fire your gun. The others will soon kick you from team if you
don't do anything.
Advanced team rules!
Some people have harder rules to there team than can be set in
team rules. Some have equipment rules. You need to have an amped
gun and a FAP to be able to participate. Some have rules that
you should have a TP chip so that you can return faster to the
team if you are killed. Some people kick the a team member if he
is killed to far from a revival terminal and will take long time
to get back to team. He will of course let you join the team
when you arrive again.
Is there any team scams I should be
aware of?
Of course there are people who will try to gain from you. They
will say that there gun is to slow or other stuff and just take
there part of the loot without doing anything. If you are really
unlucky you will share a global or HOF with someone who did
nothing. Other scams are to use unamped guns or shooting slow on
purpose. If you see this, kick the team member. But if it's some
one you trust the cause to a bad gun could be that the good one
broke or lag. Some people offer team hunts and sets the rules to
advantage to the leader. This is also a kind of scam. To check
the team settings right-click somewhere on screen and chose Team
to display team rules. If you do not accept the team rules, just
leave the team by clicking the cross in the upper right corner
of the team bar.
Do not forget to disband your team when
you are finished.
